Daughter of the Sea

Kuakata sea beach another named (Sagor Konna / Daughter of the Sea) sea beach. It is a white sandy sea beach. It is about 18 km long and near by 3.5km wide. It is most one of the rarest places to see the full view of both sunrise and sunset from the same place or same position. This beach is surrounded by green trees and beside the beach there are many of garden forest, like The Foyez Miya's Coconut Garden, Jhaubon, Ganga motir Chor, Lembur Chor etc. These gardens and forests are the most attractive part for the tourist. There are no quick sands in the beach. So you can frequently run, take bath,sun bath, swim, and pick up cockle from the beach. There are two rivers, named Payra and Bishkhali are West of the beach and river named Agunmukha is East of the beach. It has also some wanderings sites like the Rakhain Polly, Fatrar chor, Shima Boddhu Bihar, Rash Mela, Shutki Polly  that are enjoyable for the tourist.
 Location: Kuakata, Patuakhali, Bangladesh.
Climate Weather condition is very favourable in Patuakhali. Summer heat can not pour its full flair here since monsoon clouds ply gently all over the summer season.
How to go there:  Direct Launch from Sadarghat &Direct bus service from Dhaka to Kuakata is available that leaves from Sayedabad bus station,Dhaka at night.
If you want to travel by launch you can select from Dhaka Sadarghat to Patuakhali. From Patuakhali you can reach Kuakata by bus or you can hire a motor cycle.
You have to cross three ferry in road to reach the spot. Then you can hire a boat costing BDT 1500 to 2000 to visit all the sites of Kuakata.You can also hire a motor cycle or car for visit Kuakata sea beach.
Where to stay: Parjatan Holiday Homes at Kuakata is an famous tourist resort having a number of facilities for the tourist. One pond of crystal clean sweet water beside the motel attracts the tourists. There are also lots of hotels and motels available beside the beach. you can stay there about BDT 200 - 2000  per night.
Food:  Number of resturants stay there for take food.
