Location: Himchari
about 32km south of Cox’s bazar along the beach. 12km south of kalatali
bazar town and 6km from kalatali beach. From kalatali stand it is only
15 minute ride to entry.
How to go there: If you have a group of 10-15 people than you can hire a chadergari(jeep),car, taxi from Cox’s bazar . You can also hire a auto rickshaw for 2-4 people.

Himchari National Park: Himchari Park was established in 1980. This place is maintained, protected and secured by government for foreign tourist and local visitors. Most attractive for biologist. The park gets high and low forest, grassland with
some trees. Around 58 species tree, 5 species grasses, 15 species of
shrubs,19 chimbers 21 species of herbs altogether 117 plant species
available here. The park is also like as a paradise of bird watcher. A
lot of bird gathered here. More then 290 species of bird found there.
It’s a evergreen forest. A small number of elephants and leopard also
found there.
Entry fee: Himchari National Park entry fee tk 500 per person. Per year visitors 2,00,000 (near by).
Wild animal: Elephant,
tigers, copped langurs, sloth bear, leopard, jungle cats, fishing cat
gibbon hirundorustica , muntjac, wild boar, bird safari, rhesus, macque
etc . some time found there.
Broken Hill: Himchari
Broken Hill is great natural gift for Bangladesh. Its also attraction
for the visitors. When you come, see what wonder waiting for you.
Christmas Tree: Number
of Christmas tree is another famous attraction of here.The road to
Himchari runs by lovely green hill on one side and open blue sea on
other side.
Accommodation: After
visiting Himchari if you want to stay at night use resort and new
hotels, or shoud stay in Cox’s bazar. You will get a number of hotel,
motel and restaurants there with different budget. You can reach
Himchari only by the beach. So ensure you are back to town before high
tide rise in the evening . It is not advisable to stay here after
sunset.

Nafakhum waterfall is the biggest and most attractive waterfall in Bangladesh. It can be treated as “Niagara Falls” of Bangladesh. It is also an excellent place for trekking. Stone and stone all around the place. In this extreme destination tourists can take all kinds of experiences like journey on zigzag hilly roads, journey by boat in the river of Sangu with trekking. This destination gives the true view of hilly areas. In every step through the journey tourists can feel the essences of nature and life style of the Mountainous people.
Location: Remakri, Thanchi, Bandarban. Thanchi is about 79 km away from Bandarban town. Climate Winter is the best session to visit Nafakhum.
How to get there: First reach at Bandarban by Bus. There are several bus services available and fare range around 550-600 BDT and will take 8-10 hours.
Where to stay: If one can wish to stay at Thanchi, can book Thanchi rest house and will cost 600 BDT for 7 people. At Remakri visitors can stay at local tribal houses and cost for each night will about 600 BDT for 10 people. There are also some 'Tribal' houses in Remakri to stay. The travelers should stay for the night at 'Remakri' and the tour guide will help to find a good place to stay.

From Bandarban town you have to hire a 'Chander Gari' (One
kind of Jeep ) to reach at Thanchi
upzila, cost will 3500 BDT.
Then need to hire a boat to reach 'Thanchi Bazar' located
opposite side of the river 'Sangu'. At 'Thanchi Bazar' need to get permission
from BD BGB and also must to take lunch for rest of the journey.
Then again start journey by boat. At evening will reach at
'Tindu Bazar'. One's need to stay overnight there.At morning you have to start
journey to 'Remarki' and the way is more challenging and dangerous. It will
take 2.30 hours to reach at 'Remarki'.
Then need to start trekking by the side of 'Remarki Jhiri
(Khal)'. Need to cross three hills too.
After passing some distance there will be no way to pass the
'Jhiri' by walk then need to swim or manage a boat to cross it.
After crossing the 'Jhiri', again need to walk about half an
hour to reach the final destination 'Nafakhum' waterfall.
